Admission criteria for new members

Pursuant to the decision of the general meeting of 6 November 1980, to be admitted as a member to the European Commodities Exchange, it is necessary:

  • either to be an Exchange,
  • or to be an association, a grouping, a federation or a syndicate:
    • which is a centre for regular meetings,
    • has established its own contracts,
    • has an Arbitral Chamber,
    • establishes prices,
    • establishes standard qualities.

The general meeting is given every freedom to come to a decision on the admission of the applicant in view of these criteria.

Federations, syndicates or organisations already admitted will continue as members in their own right owing to their historic role; their acquired rights should be respected.

Fill in the application form to become a member of the European Commodities Exchange on line.
